About EOSIS Lake Shore
EOSIS Lake Shore is a men’s residential facility that provides substance use disorder (SUD) treatment for adults in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. It is part of the larger EOSIS network which provides services across the state. The inpatient program focuses on providing you with a sober living space where you can take advantage of counseling services to reinforce your recovery.
Sustained Recovery Solutions for Men
Lake Shore is designed to provide you with extensive counseling solutions that are offered in both individual and group sessions. Group sessions can include CBT, DBT, addiction education, family and health education, and even access to 12 step support groups if requested. Meanwhile, you’ll also participate in individual sessions with your assigned addiction counselor and your mental health counselor so you can really dig into the personal issues that affect your addiction.
Dual Diagnosis Support
For so many people, addiction is a byproduct of mental health issues. If this sounds familiar, you’ll receive supportive care for your mental health diagnosis at this treatment center, which can include medication management if necessary. This is essential as managing your mental health can prevent future relapse.
You can even opt for telehealth sessions and you can take advantage of transportation to offsite AA and NA meetings if you want to participate in them. Other therapeutic solutions include art and recreational therapy, and enrichment activities such as horseshoes, fishing, and access to the outdoor nature areas.
Detox Solutions
While all EOSIS locations provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) programs, the Lake Shore location doesn’t provide medically monitored services during the detox process. Lake Shore is designed for someone who has gotten through the worst of the initial detox, but may still require MAT to help prevent relapse as they work through the residential program.
If you’re experiencing active addiction, EOSIS’ Gateway facility is equipped for crisis stabilization and can transition you into one of the network’s residential programs once you’re stabilized. EOSIS accepts most insurance including Medicaid.
