About Health Care and Rehabilitation Services
Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) is a community behavioral health organization headquartered in Springfield, Vermont serving Windsor and Windham counties.
HCRS provides mental health and substance use care with developmental disability services to more than 4,000 people each year across 18 locations.
Rooted in a whole client and community connected approach HCRS meets people where they are with supportive and nonjudgmental care.
Substance Use Counseling and Services
HCRS offers dedicated Substance Use and Addictions services for adults through its Adult Outpatient Program.
Care includes assessment and treatment, referral, and limited psychiatric services delivered by a team experienced in supporting both mental health and substance use challenges. Treatment is available through counseling tailored to your needs.
Sessions focus on addressing underlying issues while building practical coping skills and clients consistently describe feeling welcomed, heard, and free from judgment throughout their care.
Community-Connected Recovery
Beyond outpatient counseling HCRS integrates Peer Support Services, Community Rehabilitation and Treatment, and 24 hour mobile crisis response into its continuum of care.
The organization also offers care coordination for anyone needing help with housing and food, transportation, or substance use resources.
Strong partnerships with hospitals and shelters, justice programs, and recovery centers help clients access wraparound support.
