Haven House is a residential addiction treatment facility serving the community of Oxford, Missouri. Managed under Communicare, adults and adolescents both male and female, may come to Haven House for substance abuse care.
The staff treats dual diagnosis and can provide a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches. Haven House accepts all major insurance carriers and has a sliding scale for individuals below the poverty line.
A Person-Centered and Holistic Treatment Approach
This residential program has the capacity to accommodate 48 people at a time. Haven House treats addiction and mental health disorders by providing individualized treatment plans that use a range of interventions. You may participate in yoga, meditation, and nature walks as a means of developing healthy coping skills.
Licensed clinicians will use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and EMDR, to help treat the underlying cause of your addiction. You’ll learn to adjust negative thoughts and beliefs that limit your recovery.
Thrive In A Supportive And Collaborative Environment
The goals of treatment will include increased independence and emotional stability. Through case management, the facility can guide you to resources in the community to help with securing housing and gaining employment.
Peer support within this residential program will allow you to make connections with others who are walking the same path. Other residents at the facility will also be able to provide empathy, guidance, and encouragement for you while you strive for sobriety.
