Geisinger Marworth (GM) is an addiction treatment facility with both inpatient and outpatient treatment solutions that is located in Waverly, Pennsylvania. The facility frequently accepts admissions from people across the New England and Mid Atlantic regions.

While substance use disorder (SUD) treatment is one of the center’s key priorities, the facility also focuses on providing therapeutic services for issues related to relationships, family, and LGBTQ+ specific needs.

Inpatient Rehab and Detox in Northeastern Pennsylvania

The priority with inpatient treatment is to take you out of an environment that might have carried too much temptation or outside influence. Participants here will have access to detox services which may include medication assisted treatment, along with individual, group, recreational, and educational therapy sessions. Likewise, dual diagnosis support is offered and can include trauma informed treatment for PTSD or co-occurring conditions like sexual compulsivity or addiction.

If you’re still able to manage everyday responsibilities, GM has an intensive and standard outpatient program. The intensive program meets three times a week for three weeks with individual, group, and multi family counseling sessions.

The standard outpatient program offers more flexibility to accommodate work schedules. It prioritizes individual and group therapy, with the option for family counseling if you need it.

Another nice feature with this facility are specialized support groups for particular populations. This includes the LGBTQ+ community and people struggling with relationship issues around sexual identity and behavior.
