Gaudenzia New Journey is a residential addiction treatment program in Ellendale, Delaware that includes dual-diagnosis residential care for adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.
As part of the larger Gaudenzia nonprofit network, the facility connects clients to a broader continuum of care while keeping residential treatment at the heart of its mission.

Dual-Diagnosis Residential Treatment
This residential program serves adult men and women, including young adults with a focus on co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions.
Both short-term and long-term residential tracks are available with specialized support for LGBT clients and individuals referred through the court or judicial system.
Clients engage in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, anger management and 12-step-based treatment, delivered through structured counseling.
Trauma-informed care, contingency management and medication support, including naltrexone, Vivitrol, Acamprosate, and psychiatric medications, are integrated into the residential experience.
Sober Living Connections
Beyond residential care, Gaudenzia New Journey offers aftercare support, sober living connections and access to Gaudenzia's wider network of outpatient and medication assisted treatment services.
Wraparound supports include educational planning, AA/NA involvement, spiritual support and medical and legal referrals.
Payment options include Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, self-pay, state-financed insurance, government funding, sliding scale pricing and financial assistance for qualifying clients.
