Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge is a nonprofit counseling agency in Baton Rouge, Louisiana offering outpatient substance use and mental health services within a broader family support mission.

Addressing Patterns Causing Substance Use
Services include counseling, and group therapy for adolescents and adults navigating substance use and co-occurring concerns. Sessions draw on cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help clients identify triggers, build coping skills, and address underlying emotional or relational patterns.
Family-Centered and Whole-Person Support

Family Service operates from its Revere Avenue campus in Baton Rouge, providing primarily in-person outpatient care with some online therapy options available. The organization accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, private insurance, and self-pay and offers a sliding fee scale so no one is excluded due to income.
