Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a 169 bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, PA serving adolescents and adults.
The facility provides psychiatric care and counseling, allied therapy and a dedicated co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency program through a multidisciplinary recovery model.

Dual Diagnosis
Fairmount's core strength is its inpatient co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency program for adults, integrating mental health and substance use treatment under one roof.
Care is delivered by a team spanning psychiatry, psychology and social work, nursing and internal medicine, with 24/7 nursing support.
The program includes detox, individual cognitive behavioral therapy and group therapy, psychiatric care and 12 step recovery.
Treatment focuses on coping skills development and addressing both the psychiatric and addiction related roots of each patient's struggles.
Trauma Informed and Adolescent Care
Fairmount also operates a women's unit offering gender specific, trauma informed care in a secure setting for discussing sexual trauma and domestic violence.
Adolescents ages 12 to 17 are served through dedicated programs, including a specialized girls program and an on site classroom facility.

Fairmount delivers inpatient care on a 27 acre campus bordering Fairmount Park, easily accessible from Center City Philadelphia and South Jersey, with admissions staff and licensed professionals available 24/7.
The facility accepts a wide variety of insurance plans including Aetna and Blue Cross, Cigna and Medicare, TRICARE and United Healthcare, and may offer payment plans in special cases.
