About CYS Children and Youth Services Behavioral Health Residential
CYS Children and Youth Services, located in Utqiagvik, Alaska, is a level II, 14 bed emergency shelter for youth ages 0 - 18. They offer drug rehab services, mental health treatment, and behavioral treatment that is culturally sensitive. This is a residential program. Clients may participate in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and educational classes designed to increase self worth and provide new, healthy coping skills. This is a home like residence where clients are provided safe and nurturing support while they undergo a transitional time.
