Consolidated Tribal Health Project, Inc. is a nonprofit substance use treatment provider and community health clinic in Redwood Valley, California.
This tribally governed organization offers outpatient behavioral health services including substance abuse counseling, and other types of integrated care. Clients value its culturally relevant approach rooted in traditional Native American values.
What kinds of treatment are offered?
The Behavioral Health Department provides the CTHP Outpatient Treatment Program, substance abuse and family counseling, clinical screening and assessment, telepsychiatry, and psychological evaluations.
Approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, contingency management, and anger management.
The Red Road to Wellness group and a Traditional Healer Program offer additional culturally grounded support.
Who can get help here?
Services are offered to all ages including pregnant or postpartum women. The clinic also supports veterans and military families, LGBTQ clients, and those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders or trauma histories.
Where is the clinic located?
CTHP sits on a 5.5-acre parcel in Redwood Valley in central Mendocino County roughly 125 miles north of San Francisco. Because the area is rural transportation assistance is available for eligible patients upon provider referral.
