About Compass Health Network Linn Creek Cedar Recovery Center
Compass Health Network provides substance abuse and behavioral health treatment for adults in their Linn Creek, Missouri, Cedar Recovery Center. This location offers residential care for clients needing mental health treatment and outpatient services for substance use care.
Whole-Person Care
The center uses medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help lessen withdrawal symptoms and reduce drug cravings for guests experiencing alcohol or opioid addiction. They have trained psychiatrists who prescribe FDA-approved medicines combined with therapy to address the entire person and not only the addiction.
Guests will also attend group education meetings to learn more about the disease of addiction and how it may affect thinking skills. Peer support is included in the program to provide understanding and guidance from the perspective of someone who has been through recovery.
Offender Education Program
They include the Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Program (SATOP) for clients to understand how drinking affects their driving skills. It is a ten-hour educational program that discusses choices, consequences of our action and recognizing healthier options for the future.
There is also a weekend intervention service for repeat or high-risk offenders. It is a rigorous program with 48 hours of education in a restrictive setting.
