About Behavioral Health Group – Hazard
Behavioral Health Group (BHG) provides an addiction treatment center in Hazard, Kentucky for adults across Hazard, Jackson, Hyden, Whitesburg and the greater Eastern Kentucky region.
The team combines FDA-approved medications, counseling and peer support to treat opioid use disorder, co-occurring mental health concerns and chronic pain alongside substance use.
BHG's mission centers on delivering respectful care that meets patients where they are and supports lasting recovery.
Opioid Use Disorder Treatment
BHG Hazard includes medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, offering all three major medication pathways under one roof including methadone, buprenorphine/Suboxone and extended-release buprenorphine injections.
Buprenorphine is available both in-clinic and by prescription, giving patients flexible options for their recovery journey.
Care begins with intake assessment, medical evaluation and personalized treatment planning, followed by ongoing counseling, lab monitoring and case management.
Recovery Support Services
In addition to standard outpatient medication services, BHG Hazard offers an Intensive Outpatient Program featuring multiple weekly sessions focused on recovery skills, education and peer connection.
Supportive services include health assessments, telehealth, transfer support from other programs and take-home doses for eligible patients.
BHG Hazard also offers telehealth support, walk-in access and potential same-day or next-day appointment starts.
