BHG Columbia Treatment Center

Behavioral Health Group is an outpatient rehab in Columbia, Missouri. The center treats adults with an opioid use disorder, including people using heroin, fentanyl or a prescription opioid. After a visit, you can go home the same day.

Opioid Treatment in Columbia

Methadone (a medication for opioid use disorder) is taken every day, with medical supervision.

Buprenorphine, including Suboxone, is also medication-assisted treatment, and it's given in BHG's opioid treatment program or as a prescription. Medical detox isn't offered at this Columbia location.

Sublocade and Brixadi are extended-release buprenorphine injections (a slow-release form), given weekly or once a month to patients who prefer that spacing.

Patients can't take medication home unless they meet federal and state requirements for safety and stability.

BHG sees patients from Columbia, Jefferson City and Boonville, as well as Fulton and the wider Central Missouri area. If you're coming from Jefferson City or Fulton, a visit means a drive into Columbia.
