About Basecamp Recovery Center Franklinton
Basecamp Recovery Center Franklinton, also known as Basecamp West, is a CARF accredited substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment center serving the Columbus, Ohio area.
The center offers multiple levels of evidence based care, from medical detox through aftercare designed to meet individualized recovery goals. Basecamp West takes a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach that treats addiction as a medical disease with multidisciplinary support from doctors, nurses and chemical dependency counselors, mental health counselors and case managers.
From Detox to Aftercare
Basecamp West provides a full continuum of substance use disorder treatment, guiding clients through detox, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient, outpatient and structured aftercare programming. This step down approach allows for seamless transitions as clients build stability, with each level tailored to individual needs and progress.
Treatment integrates evidence based behavioral health therapy with medical support to address both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction. Sessions focus on skill building, relapse prevention and addressing underlying co-occurring mental health conditions with aftercare programming emphasizing long term recovery supports like sponsor connections and meeting attendance.
Medication Assisted Treatment

The center also offers same day assessments and accepts walk ins Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, reducing barriers to starting treatment when it's needed most.
