About Baptist Health Center for Addiction Recovery
Baptist Health Care Partners in Montgomery, Alabama have partnered with the Baptist Health Care Foundation to bring a full continuum of care for addiction recovery using the most current health system advances.
The facility accepts Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances. Clients who are court ordered, uninsured, or underinsured will be accepted. The Baptist Health Care Foundation accepts donations and hosts fundraising events such as golf events to help make treatment affordable.
Outpatient Addiction Services for Adults
Outpatient addiction services are offered to adults ages 18 and older. Outpatient withdrawal management is offered and can be assisted by medication to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Clients needing inpatient detox will be referred to a local hospital.
The center uses a hub and spoke model of addiction treatment which integrates addiction, medical care, behavioral health, psychiatric care, and specialty care. The center is focused on working with clients to reduce opioid addiction.
Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders in Montgomery
If you have substance use disorder with co-occurring psychiatric conditions, the center can treat both diagnoses at the same time and prescribe medications if needed.
The closest bus stop is on East South Boulevard, just a four minute walk from the clinic. If a client is looking for some soul food after a session, Simply Southern Café is just up the road. Also located close to the facility is Stockyard Grill and Chandler’s Smokehouse Grill.
Approximately five miles away is the Alabama River with a Riverfront Park which gives access to Gun Island Chute. The chute is known for fishing, boating, and paddleboarding. A client could take a walk along the river while meditating or pondering topics from the day’s session.
