About Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel
Avenues Recovery Center (ARC) is an inpatient facility that provides drug and alcohol addiction treatment in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. It is one of two locations in the state and part of a larger network with multiple facilities across the South, Southwest, New England, and Midwest. The Lake Ariel location offers comprehensive treatment to help people achieve sobriety and support for life after addiction.
Supportive Detox Solutions
Whether you’re struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, people with more severe cases need a safe environment to help them effectively wean off of substances without the risk of harmful side effects or relapse. The Lake Ariel facility provides two inpatient detox programs that are customized for alcohol and drug use.
Both programs include round the clock care, but also integrate counseling to help people learn how to better manage stressors. The detox programs also include dual diagnosis support and medication assisted treatment (MAT) if needed. Therapy is provided in individual and group settings as well.
A Calming Inpatient Experience in the Poconos
Another nice feature of the Lake Ariel rehabilitation center is the soothing environment which is designed to help you focus on recovery. The newly remodeled 40 bed center is located in the Poconos Mountains and provides access to plenty of calming outdoor spaces, an onsite gym, and gourmet cooked meals.
Transitioning to Outpatient Care
Once you’ve successfully completed detox, you’ll be ready to transition to ARC’s outpatient program. This track is designed to help you navigate the complexities of real life and prevent the risk of relapse. An emphasis is placed on building tools for managing stressors and building a social network with other ARC alumni who have achieved and maintained sobriety.
Outpatient care is segmented into partial hospitalization with no overnights, intensive outpatient, a traditional outpatient program for more flexibility, and a sober living program to help people get back on their feet. ARC accepts most insurances as well as Medicare and Medicaid.
