Breathing the Mana of Maui: Recovery at Aloha House
When beginning recovery at Aloha House, patients can expect an initial assessment in order to provide the best curriculum of programs tailored to each individual. Detox is offered to individuals that require 24/7 medical supervision during initial withdrawals.
The residential program follows and provides private and semi private rooms with a structured schedule of therapy sessions, life skills classes, and daily meals while also enjoying the natural beauty of the island. Clients in their intensive outpatient program can also attend the therapy sessions and enjoy the amenities as well.
No Ka Oi (The Best) Support: Aloha House
The best part of completing treatment at Aloha House is the continued aftercare programs and benefits. Through their network and community resources, Aloha House refers patients to sober living facilities in the area, which is a step down from residential care and focuses on maintaining sobriety. Alumni are encouraged to check in and join group events which include picnics, fishing trips, and “kanikapila” (jam sessions) on the beach.
