About Spero House Sober Living
Inside the Dobson Ranch community near central Mesa, Arizona, you’ll find Spero House Sober Living’s (SHSL) Cottonwood house. This location is exclusively for women. As an organization, SHSL operates several sober living homes that provide women with the right mix of safety, accountability, and freedom needed while they transform their lives.
A Nurturing Community
While staying in the Cottonwood house, you’ll get a chance to grow within a structured, nurturing environment. Residents take part in chores, house meetings, and recreational activities, all of which help you take ownership of your healing journey and help you bond with the other residents.
There are also a few staff members who live on the premises with everyone else. Their jobs are to help hold each resident to their stated goals, to provide encouragement, and to make sure everything in the house is running smoothly. Community outings are a feature so residents can get to know their neighbors again.

The house itself has both single and shared rooms, fast internet, a well-stocked kitchen, and a swimming pool.
