About Simply Grace
The Simply Grace sober living home in Richardson, Texas, is one of four locations where Simply Grace provides a safe environment where you can rebuild your life free from addiction. Their program is designed specifically for women and aims to meet each resident's spiritual, emotional, mental and physical needs.
Supporting Healing With Structure
One of the first elements of their program that stands out is that they do daily alcohol testing and random drug testing. This way, they provide accountability in the residence and keep the environment safe for all the women living there.
Another way in which they promote accountability and progress for each woman is by requiring residents to be actively participating in a 12-step program. They also have staff who provide counseling and guidance to supplement this healing journey. Additionally, Simply Grace asks that each resident find a place to work, go to school or volunteer.
A Safe Place for Parents
For mothers with children between the ages of 2 and 12, they allow two overnight stays per week, and have a special “mommy and me” program at their Plano residence. They also offer parenting classes to mothers whose children have moved into the shared residence. One recent graduate of the program wrote that what helped her get her life back was the sense of sisterhood she found while living here.
