About The New Beginning Fellowship Center
The New Beginning Fellowship Center is a compassionate and inclusive organization in Fountain Valley, California, that offers life-saving services and support for those seeking to break the cycle of addiction. This remarkable nonprofit uses donations to help provide scholarships to patients struggling with costs, as well as to help cover some of the needs of the patients in their programs. Their programs include a supportive housing space as well as several outpatient programs.
Supportive Housing: A Safe Space to Grow
Their supportive housing program runs for between 30 and 90 days and provides a safe sober living environment structured to help you break free from old habits and stay away from your old environments. The rules and daily activities in supportive housing place a dual focus on building sustained sobriety and self sufficiency.
In supportive housing, you’ll receive services like individual and group therapy, clinical assessments and monitoring, and medication management. Their community partnerships and expertise allow them to offer access to dual diagnosis support. They can also provide a referral to a trusted medical detox service if that first step would better fit your needs.
Flexible Outpatient Programs
For individuals with very intensive needs but who cannot commit to staying in a facility overnight, they have a partial hospitalization program (PHP). In this program, each client gets support, therapy, and guidance for the day and returns home or to a sober living facility in the evenings. Their intensive outpatient program and outpatient programs are similar services; however, each requires less time for therapy and attention in a given week. They also have a specialized outpatient program for adolescents and their families.
