Outpatient Addiction Treatment Programs at Child and Youth Services Virginia Beach
Treatment can begin with a same day access clinical assessment so families can start without needing an appointment. From there, youth can access outpatient therapy including individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychiatric evaluations and medication management tailored to their needs.
The Intensive Substance Abuse Group program is designed specifically for adolescents with substance use issues, and dual diagnosis treatment addresses serious emotional disturbance and addiction. Case management services help coordinate care across schools, courts and other agencies, using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention and brief intervention counseling.
They work with Medicaid, private pay and sliding fee scales through federal, state and local funding.
