About Chicanos Por La Causa Phoenix
If you’re looking for a recovery space in Phoenix that feels like a true community, Chicanos Por La Causa’s Community Center is a culturally rich and bilingual sanctuary that has been a pillar in Arizona since 1982.
Diversity Embraced
What I personally love about CPLC is how they celebrate diversity. Whether you speak English or Spanish, you’re welcomed with open arms into a program that values where you come from just as much as where you’re going.
There’s a special track for kids K-12 to assist with education and basic needs. This includes a food pantry, a computer lab, and GED classes.
A Bridge to Independent Living
One of the most impressive features here is the Grace House, which is their transitional housing program. Transitioning back into the real world is often the hardest part of recovery. CPLC offers up to six months of safe housing for residential grads.
While living there, you can hunt for a job and stay connected to outpatient counseling. They even assist with Medicaid enrollment and use a substance abuse block grant funding to ensure you’re able to receive high-quality care no matter what you have in your bank account.
