About Sierra Vista Child and Family Services First Step
Sierra Vista Child and Family Services’ First Step program is based in Modesto, California, that supports children and adults with life-enriching programs to aid in their wellness. With a history of success, they’ve been in existence since 1972. In particular, we appreciate their deep dedication to supporting women in recovering from substance use disorder.
Targeted Support for Women in Stanislaus County
Their First Step Perinatal Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program extends addiction treatment services to women. Through this program, you’ll be taught skills and strategies to help you maintain healthy relationships, manage your home, and live a safe and sober life.
First Step has a perinatal portion designed for first-time moms that provides education, support, and childcare. Clients who are pregnant and dependent on injection drugs receive priority registration for seamless access to care. We feel this pathway is a great way to get the treatment you deserve and a nurturing start to your baby’s life.
Free Behavioral Health Services
They’re contracted with the Stanislaus County’s Behavioral Health & Recovery Services network. They accept Medi-Cal. Since they’re funded by state government and county programs, there is zero cost to women.
