About Reflections Lifestyle Center
Reflections Lifestyle Center is a Joint Commission accredited partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program in The Colony, Texas specializing in mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders for adolescents ages ten to eighteen. The program treats anxiety and depression, ADHD and trauma, bipolar disorder and suicidal ideation and substance use through evidence based therapies and holistic wellness practices.
As the first Behavioral Health Lifestyle Medicine adolescent treatment facility in North Texas, Reflections delivers compassionate, clinically advanced care that integrates mind and body healing in a welcoming, judgment free environment.
Adolescent Substance Use Treatment
Reflections specializes in helping teens navigate mental health crises and addiction through structured day treatment programs designed specifically for middle and high school students. Founded in 2021 by Harvard trained professionals, the center is led by Dr. Efosa Airuehia, a quad board certified physician in general psychiatry, child & adolescent psychiatry, addiction medicine and lifestyle medicine.
Treatment combines individual and group therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and trauma focused approaches that address root causes while building practical coping skills. Patients and families consistently praise the supportive staff and life saving care, noting the program provided essential tools for healing in a safe, nurturing space where teens feel genuinely heard and valued.
Holistic Wellness Integration
Reflections has a REFLECT Program which incorporates the six pillars of lifestyle medicine. These include healthful eating and physical activity, managing stress and avoiding substances, improving sleep and healthy relationships. Sessions include yoga, music therapy and art therapy, nutritional guidance and career coaching at no extra cost, creating an approach that treats the whole person beyond traditional clinical interventions.

Reflections serves the greater Dallas Fort Worth area from its Colony location off Windhaven Parkway, offering both daytime and evening programming with in person and virtual options. The center is led by experienced, board certified professionals committed to collaborative care involving families, schools and outside providers.
Reflections accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare and Aetna, Cigna and other major insurers, with interest free payment plans available for qualifying families.
