About Drug and Alternative Program Grand Terrace
Drug and Alternative Program in Grand Terrace, California, offers recovery and transition homes for teen males and men. Residents learn how to overcome substance use addiction and recreational use through Christian recovery.
DAP TV on their website is a collection of videos showing special projects and events for the center. The center accepts one-time and monthly donations.
Monthly Costs and Earnings
You will be required to pay $1800 upon admission. This covers your needs such as housing, meals, clothing, incidentals and medical insurance. Each month costs an additional $1800, but you will earn $900 per month through the work program, reducing the amount owed to $900.
After you graduate from the recovery home, the transitional home fee is one fourth of your income up to $350. You can stay in the transitional home for up to two years.
Living Free of Addictive Substances
Some of us are not able to return to a sober environment or community, making recovery more difficult. These programs offer a sober environment of healthy living. The homes are free of substances, caffeine and tobacco.
Therapies and Recovery Activities
Therapeutic individual and group therapy will provide encouragement through your continued recovery. Work therapy allows you to earn part of your monthly program cost. You will learn how to stay sober and rely on Christ for support through spiritual counseling, attending church, personal devotions and group devotions.
Onsite Education for Groups
The center offers onsite education about addiction for school, church, organizations or community groups. Their goal is to remove the stigma associated with users of substances and to teach children and youth about the significant impact substances would have on their lives.
