Testing was available for Hepatitis C and HIV during labs that included drug screening. The clinic prescribed buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds such as Suboxone, Bunavail and Zubsolv for cravings and withdrawals.
The medication was prescribed in three phases. The induction phase consisted of intensive supervision and monitoring for initial withdrawals that occur during 12 to 24 hours after clients last took opioids. Monitoring allowed physicians to determine whether the dose prescribed was effective for withdrawal symptoms.

The stabilization phase began when the client was no longer experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Dosing adjustment sometimes occurred during this phase.
The maintenance phase began once the client was stabilized. Some clients migrated into a medically supervised withdrawal shortly into this phase.
