About 2nd Chance Treatment Center
2nd Chance Treatment Center, now permanently closed, was in Surprise, Arizona. They provided treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders and substance use disorders through outpatient services. They also offered treatment at other locations including Gilbert, Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona.
They focused on treating those struggling with alcohol and drug addictions through evidence based treatment modalities for both adult men and women. When you first arrived at 2nd Chance, they would assess and evaluate both your physical and mental health conditions to determine whether or not you required acute care treatment.
MAT Treatment for Alcohol and Opioid Withdrawal Management
They offered medication assisted treatment to those struggling with severe withdrawal symptoms from opioids and alcohol including overall discomfort and severe cravings. They would also offer one on one therapy and education programs for you and your family, to ensure you understand the risks of relapse and to discuss at risk behaviors.
TMS Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders
In addition to substance use treatment, they provided services to address various co-occurring mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, depression and bipolar disorder. They also offered treatment for those addicted to heroin, opioids and marijuana.
As a unique form of treatment, they provided transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). This method has been successful for those who have not had symptoms improve from treatment through common medications.
