Edge Recovery in Coral Springs, Florida was an outpatient substance use treatment facility. They were accredited by LegitScript, the Florida Department of Children and Families, The Joint Commission, the National Association of Drug Court Professionals, TASC, and BBB. They are now closed.
Faith Based Treatment
A faith based program was available for those seeking a spiritual recovery and treatment. Led by an ordained minister, the program offered faith based groups, individual therapy, faith oriented studies, education, and exposure of how to incorporate spirituality into daily living.
Therapies and Treatments
Therapies used included marriage and family therapy, and mindfulness based stress reduction. Treatment was based on the 12 step methods. Holistic treatment included chiropractic treatment, massage therapy, yoga, and nutrition/wellness education.
The clinic offered medication assisted treatment (MAT) to reduce withdrawals and cravings. Opioid use disorder was treated with Suboxone and naltrexone.
Levels of Substance Use Programs
Intensive outpatient programs required three to five days per week for three hours per day. Day and evening sessions were available. They had several coed sober living homes for those who were not in a living environment conducive to recovery. Transportation to therapy and community support groups was provided.
Day/night treatment was available with community housing. Treatment was offered through partial hospitalization programs. These programs offered more hours of treatment for more days per week with a structured schedule to maintain sobriety. General outpatient programs were offered for those who had completed treatment but still needed a therapy session every week.
