About Stockton Circle of Friends
Stockton Circle of Friends is a private facility that offers inpatient and sober living care in Stockton, California. This non profit facility provides services to adult men who are seeking recovery from substance use disorders.
They are CARF accredited and provide high quality care and a communal environment to break the cycle of addiction. The facility accepts federal funding, Medicaid, Medicare, TriCARE and self pay.
Various Treatment Options
I like that their residential treatment program provides both short term and long term inpatient care. Short term is about 30 days of treatment and long term is about 90 days of treatment. They do not provide detox services.
Stockton Circle of Friends offers a communal living environment so you will stay in a shared bedroom and use a shared bathroom. Clients will be held responsible for household chores.
You will engage in evidence based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and 12 step facilitation alongside anger management and relapse prevention. These treatments will help you be better able to manage stress and prevent relapse.
Helpful Assessments and Additional Services
A comprehensive assessment will be done before you begin treatment. You will undergo a substance use and mental health evaluation.
I like that they also provide ancillary services such as housing services, case management and employment counseling. They emphasize the importance of aftercare, as it provides support for long term recovery after treatment has been completed.
Certain illnesses can be more likely to occur if an individual is an intravenous drug user. Clients may also be able to receive HIV/AIDS education and testing. Additionally, they also address co-occurring health needs for veterans and provide care for LGBTQ+ individuals.
