Although intensive outpatient programs are not as intensive, they still offer counseling, behavioral therapy, education sessions and case management. You can continue your medications and receive medical treatments. In case of a crisis, you can be treated 24 hours per day seven days per week.
The clinic uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and contingency management therapies. Family therapy is also available to resolve family problems that have been created by use of substances. Medication assisted treatment gives you access to medications such as methadone, naltrexone, and buprenorphine to help safely work toward cleansing your body of substances.
Recovery Residents for Sober Living
Recovery residents are sober living homes for clients who have completed treatment. While medical services are not available there, you will still receive peer support and clinical counseling. The clinic can refer you to a recovery residence if you are interested.
Aftercare and Alumni Programs
The alumni program offers meetings and outings to different events allowing you to attend sober functions and make sober friends. You are encouraged to find a support group, such as the 12 step groups.
