About Pasadena Recovery Center
Pasadena Recovery Center was a residential and sober living program in Pasadena, California. This inpatient and outpatient space served the local affluent and celebrity community, to aid in their recovery from substance use disorders and mental health concerns.
The residential home was near Washington Park and Brookside Golf Course, near the 210 Interstate Highway, just Northeast of the Rose Bowl Stadium.
Residential Sober Living Home
Pasadena Recovery Center was a sober living home where a residential house was converted into an inpatient sober home for men and women who needed the space to recover from substance use disorders.
The facility offered medication assisted treatment (MAT) through various partners, which included medications like Subutex and Suboxone for opioid-related disorders and dual diagnosis needs. Celebrities and affluent individuals with co-occurring behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric disorders also attended the Pasadena Recovery Center.
Holistic and Expressive Therapy Modalities
When the Pasadena Recovery Center was open, the space offered holistic practices such as Eastern medicine and acupuncture, as well as expressive therapy like yoga, meditation, and music therapy. These various programs helped treat other addictions like self-harm and gambling.
Though this space is closed, previous reviews I’ve read listed the space as helpful and life-changing.
