H.A.A.R.T in Hayward, California, is a community focused not for profit clinic that provides treatment for opioid substance users. The center accepts private insurances, referrals through Kaiser Permanente and the Veterans Administration, Medi-Cal, and Medicare Parts B and C.

Getting Help to Achieve Sobriety
You can walk into the clinic or call to speak with an intake coordinator. Intake days are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
I like that day treatment is available for past clients, transfer clients, or if required documentation is obtained quickly. Appointments are scheduled for Monday through Thursday, or If you are a walk in client, you will be worked in between appointments.
Treatments and Counseling for Substance Use
The clinic treats clients with poly substance use and co-occurring disorders. If you need medication assisted treatment, the medications that may be used include methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone.
These medications are designed to reduce your withdrawal symptoms and cravings so you can focus more on your recovery. The therapies that may be used to help treat you include CBT, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention and trauma related counseling.
