Back To Basics is a peer-led support group in Manteca, California, focused on alcohol recovery through the Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) fellowship. Participants value the accessible, community-based model and the supportive environment of shared experience.
Various Group Meetings
Back To Basics hosts various A.A. meetings, including open meetings for anyone, closed meetings for those with a drinking problem, women-only meetings, and Big Book study sessions.
It provides peer-led, 12-Step based mutual support and does not offer medical detox, residential care or clinical therapy.
Close to Local Amenities
Meetings are held in person at W Louise Ave in Manteca. The location is just off of highway 120, which provides easy access to and from the city. You also won’t be far from Franciscan Park, which can be a great place for you to get some exercise and relax after meetings.
There is no cost to participate in A.A. meetings at Back To Basics. You can start by attending a scheduled meeting at the Manteca address. The group operates on a drop-in basis, welcoming newcomers to join the peer-led discussions and find community support.
