About West Pines Behavioral Health
West Pines Behavioral Hospital in Westminster, Colorado, offers behavioral health treatment for children ages eight to 12, adolescents, adults and seniors. They treat alcohol, opioid and prescription drug addictions.
Adolescent Outpatient Programs
Adult supervised detox for withdrawal symptom management provides medical support around the clock. After you are stabilized, you can participate in group therapy sessions and art therapy.
Adolescent PHP and IOP programs offer medication management and therapies such as CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing. Adolescent issues that are common are addressed such as struggles with identity, body image, school demands, peer pressure and the mental health and substance use disorders these issues lead to.
Adult Inpatient Addiction Treatment
Adult inpatient lasts three to 20 days based on the needs of the client. Treatment uses therapies such as CBT, motivational interviewing and experiential therapy. Medication management is also provided.
Senior inpatient provides a nurse practitioner for medical needs including wounds, oxygen, IV fluids and respiratory nebulizer treatments. Other features of the program are similar to the adult program.
Adult Outpatient Programs
Adult outpatient programs include partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP). We are aware that some clients are unable to attend residential treatment for a variety of reasons. We recommend considering PHP as a replacement.
