About Valley Cities Federal Way
Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care operates several locations in Washington state. This location is the Federal Way Clinic in Federal Way, Washington. It's located in a midsize city in South King County between Seattle and Tacoma. The city offers easy access to Puget Sound and a community suburban feel.
Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder Treatment
The Federal Way Clinic offers treatment for mental health conditions and substance use disorders. On Thursdays, they offer a substance use disorder walk in clinic and they provide medication assisted therapy (MAT) for individuals over the age of 18 years. Their treatment services are based on a recovery process that is personal to you, seeking to achieve wellness and healing while overcoming stigma.
The multidisciplinary team of clinicians empowers your progress using evidence-based approaches. An initial eval helps determine the severity of your substance use disorder and whether there is a co-occurring mental health condition. This helps clinicians recommend the appropriate services. They can work with the local criminal justice system to provide court mandated treatment.
Customized Program Includes Wraparound Services
Clients’ individualized plans also include caring for medical, dental and nutritional needs while also managing legal issues. While other Valley Cities locations offer inpatient substance withdrawal management services, Federal Way doesn’t. However, they offer mental health treatment for co-occurring disorders, including providing clinicians for adults and children, case management, medication management, peer services and help with employment.
Once you’ve completed your substance use disorder treatment program, staff also provide monthly support to help with relapse prevention and skills development. They’re a nonprofit organization that accepts donations to help cover the cost of care. They have multiple Community Partners that also contribute, including Lowe's, Federal Way Custom Jewelers and MVP Realty group.
