Counseling and Treatment for Substance Use Disorder
Initial screenings and assessments will inform the clinic of the level of treatment needed for each client. Addiction counseling can be individually, with a group, or with the client’s family. Parenting instruction counseling is available for parents who need it. Virtual online sessions are available for clients without transportation.
The clinic offers treatment for substance abuse with co-occurring mental health issues. Addiction treatments include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral interventions. Behavioral therapy motivates clients to change behaviors, build skills to resist temptation, and maintain healthier relationships. Clients experience fewer cravings and learn how to manage stress without substances. Mental health improves with counseling as does coping skills.
