The Texas Valley Coastal Bend VA Mobile Clinic, operated by the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System in Harlingen, Texas, is a specialized addiction treatment and mental health program serving veterans across deep south Texas. The system provides residential treatment, intensive outpatient and standard outpatient services designed to reach homeless and rural veterans in 20 counties.
With a focus on trauma informed care, the program addresses substance use disorders, PTSD, co-occurring mental health conditions and the complex challenges military families face.

Veterans can also access the Mobile Medical Unit extends care in rural communities, which is available on a recurring schedule. Outpatient options include intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs when you are in early recovery or have a high relapse risk. Traditional outpatient services feature individual and group counseling, medication management and psychiatric support.
Your customized reatment program may integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and medication assisted treatment including Naloxone and Methadone to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

The VA program is open to military members, veterans and eligible dependents experiencing substance use, PTSD, homelessness, depression, anxiety and co occurring disorders.
