About Teen Challenge Oakland Mens Center
The Teen Challenge Oakland Men’s Center, also known as East Bay Teen Challenge (EBTC), is a long term residential rehab that’s located in eastern Oakland, California.
Here, they offer men aged 18 and older a safe place to live and recover from drug and alcohol addictions with their faith based, nonmedical rehab program.
Recovery That Develops You
At EBTC, they provide residents with a structured lifestyle in a home-like setting and rely on abstinence and long term personal development to ultimately break addictive habits. They also incorporate community service and Christian discipleship as major components of the structured lifestyle.
While here, you’ll experience individual and group counseling, education on behavioral health and biblical topics, and receive household and work responsibilities. The center also helps residents access job development courses and volunteering roles whenever such opportunities are available.
Over the typical 12 month course of the program, residents often find their lives completely transformed by the skills and attitudes learned during their stay.
