About Square One
Square One is a state-approved substance abuse treatment center in Redmond, Washington. Since 1979, they’ve provided assessments, alcohol and drug information school (ADIS), and outpatient treatment services for differing levels of addiction and co-occurring disorders. They pride themselves on creating highly personalized treatment programs for each individual, rooted in the principles of the 12 Step model.
Both of thE Redmond outpatient treatment programs are divided into multiple phases that match your progress in recovery and sobriety. Progressively changing programs like these emulate “stepping down” into less intensive treatment without actually entering a new program.
Looking Past Addiction
You might be interested in this center’s Intermediate Outpatient program. It’s designed for those who are considered high risk but with a primary diagnosis outside of addiction. In essence, it’s for folks whose other behavioral concerns may be greater than their substance abuse, but are still linked to it. It’s a targeted approach that can prove more effective for those who don’t qualify for intensive treatment.
AA Meeting Integration
This provider’s approach to drugs is rooted firmly in the 12 Step model, so much so that regular attendance at AA meetings is a required part of their programs. This added structure is useful for those new to recovery. AA meetings are hosted throughout the local community.
