About Sante Center for Healing
The Santé Center for Healing in Argyle, Texas, provides treatment for substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, polyaddiction, trauma, sex addictions, eating addictions, and other compulsive behaviors. They provide a full continuum of treatment including detox, residential, outpatient, transitional living, family support, and alumni support.
The campus is situated on one of the largest hills in Denton County spread over 16 acres with beautiful views of the county from large decks. They’re accredited by CARF, The Joint Commission, SASH, and NBCC.
Inpatient Medical Detoxification
Inpatient medical detox uses medication assisted treatment to reduce substance use withdrawals and cravings under the safety of medical supervision. Medications are primarily used for alcohol and opioid addiction disorders
Residential & Outpatient Care
Residential treatment lasts 45 to 100 days. Therapies used during treatment include motivational interviewing, trauma, and behavioral approaches. Those with dual diagnosis can also have specialized care to address their diagnoses concurrently. Enjoyable experiential therapy includes art and ropes courses.
Intensive Outpatient Programs begin with 10 hours per week and taper down to three hours per week by the sixth month. Group therapy uses process sessions, psychoeducation, and activity and discussions to promote recovery. Residents can heal more quickly when they discuss our successes and failures with like-minded peers.
Sex Addiction Treatment
Those with a sex addiction may not have a high libido or derive extreme pleasure from having sex. It is a compulsion for risqué behaviors including multiple partners. Sex can be an escape from emotional pain, tension, and stress just as substances or food are.
If you are finding yourself consumed with sex, unable to control your urges, angry when you cannot have sex, distressed by the urges, neglecting responsibilities for sex, or negatively affecting your physical health with sex, the center can help.
