About Recovery Resource Council
Recovery Resource Council is a mental health and addiction treatment facility in Forth Worth, Texas. They provide specialized care to adults and youth experiencing substance abuse, co occurring disorders, trauma, or chronic homelessness.
Some of their tracks are free, including the youth prevention program. While their addiction treatment outpatient program doesn’t accept insurance, financial assistance may be available based on eligibility.
Specialized Care for Underserved Populations
For me, their targeted programs really stood out. They offer tailored care for Veterans and their families through the enduring families program.
You can access individualized counseling, couples and marriage therapy, and family sessions. These approaches help you address depression, PTSD, anxiety and substance use while working on communication and parenting skills.
Their youth prevention program provides group education and mental health counseling to children who need it most. Your child can participate in structured group sessions, classroom presentations and hands on activities to promote sober living.
Making Meaningful Change for Over 70 Years
One of the most impressive things I noticed about them is their solid reputation and dedication to quality care. Since 1946, Recovery Resource Council has provided comprehensive behavioral healthcare and addiction services to residents of North Texas.
They’ve evolved from a small committee focused on alcoholism to a cornerstone of North Texas addiction treatment. This gives them a unique proven perspective on treatment. I love that they serve as a beacon of hope for the entire community.
