About Pine Ridge Treatment Center Victorville – Closed
Pine Ridge Treatment Centers in Victorville, California, offered programs in the southern California area for alcoholism and other dependencies. They were accredited by CARF, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission, and the State of California Department of Health Care Services. The center has since closed.
Intensive Outpatient Addiction Programs
The center offered outpatient treatment for substance use. Intensive outpatient services focused on recovery through education and group therapy. Relapse prevention programs were part of the group sessions.
Family treatment was available so your loved ones could join in your recovery. After completion of the program, clients were offered continuing care treatment for up to one year.
Client Required Education Programs
An education program was offered for clients who did not have substance use issues. Clients were taught about the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol.
A two section educational program lasted five sessions. If ten sessions were required by an employer or the judicial system, a second section was added.
Clients were referred by SAP, EAP, MAP, and employers. Referred clients were substance abusers and not dependent on substances. Common referrals were because of accidents on the job, positive drug screens, or issues at school.
Residential Addiction Treatment Referral
If a client required residential treatment, they were referred to the Lucerne Valley facility or the Running Springs facility. Running Springs was specifically designated for clients on probation or parole and who were trying to reenter the community.
Residential treatment taught residents that substance use disorder is a chronic illness. Clients learned about this concept through films, lectures, and reading.
Individual counseling allowed clients to accept the disease, believe they could achieve recovery, and see a fulfilling life is available after recovery. Group counseling allowed residents to discuss various issues that prevent recovery and to develop recovery skills.
