Support Through Any Crisis
The Crisis Residential Unit is a part of the comprehensive support and mental health treatment that is offered through the MHMR. It provides a medically supervised place for individuals to stay safe as they navigate their way out of a crisis situation. Whether that is to medically detox from drugs and alcohol or to stabilize the mental health medications they need to balance their brain chemistry so they can live their best life.
Crisis care is most often accessed through the Mobile Crisis Team, a crisis phone line or an emergency department referral. Individuals can call for support without a preexisting referral. If it is an emergency situation, call 911 or the Mobile Crisis Team 24/7 support line.
Most health insurance plans are accepted and will cover part or all of the cost of treatment. This includes State, Federal, and Veterans Affairs health coverage.
