MHMR of Tarrant County is a comprehensive behavioral health center in Fort Worth, Texas providing substance use disorder treatment, mental health services and integrated care for individuals and families throughout Tarrant County.
The organization offers a full continuum of addiction treatment, including outpatient services and residential programs, medically monitored detox and medication assisted treatment for adults and adolescents ages 13 and older. Since 1969, MHMR has delivered trauma informed, evidence based care for co-occurring disorders and veterans, justice involved individuals and other vulnerable populations.
Addiction Treatment Programs
Treatment begins with an assessment through the ICARE Call Center, which connects clients to the appropriate level of care. Outpatient programs are available at multiple Tarrant County locations and include individual and group based counseling for adults and teens, while residential options include the Pine Street Rehabilitation Center for adults and the Youth Recovery Campus for adolescent men.
Clients receive evidence based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, trauma therapy and motivational interviewing. MHMR also provides medication assisted treatment using Suboxone and buprenorphine, medically monitored detox, dual diagnosis care for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and support services including case management and peer support, family programming and relapse prevention.
