STAR Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program
Once your conditions have been assessed and evaluated, they may suggest intake in their STAR outpatient substance abuse treatment program. This adults only program provides treatment for co-occurring mental health issues and addictions to alcohol, opioids and other substances.
Counseling and Group Therapy for Mental Health Conditions
It also addresses co-occurring mental health conditions including depression and anxiety to treat both conditions and heal your physical and mental health needs together. I like that their group therapy sessions are provided 3 to 5 days a week, as well as individual counseling services and daily medication management.
I find it good to know that through their STAR program, clients are first evaluated for their acute care needs. If required, STAR offers an outpatient detox treatment program that provides integrated treatment from their nursing staff, pharmacy team and psychiatry team. Their detox program additionally includes one on one counseling and regularly scheduled group therapy sessions.
