Substance Use Counseling and MAT
Drug and alcohol addiction is treated through behavioral therapies, counseling, support groups, and medication assisted treatment or MAT. Medication assisted treatment may include methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone to reduce cravings and physical symptoms of addiction.
Behavioral therapies used include CBT, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. If you have PTSD or trauma related disorders you will likely receive EMDR treatment where you can reprocess distressing memories, heal from trauma, change negative thought patterns, and correct negative self images.
Behavioral therapies and medication are used to treat tobacco addictions here too. The center can help clients transition off of Xanax as well, which is intended to be a short term treatment, and onto a permanent anxiety treatment plan.
Pain Management without Opioids
Dr. Lytton offers pain management services for those who are recovering from opioid use but have chronic pain as well. Pain management is commonly needed by those with osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, sciatica, rheumatoid arthritis, neuropathy, and other conditions. Management includes non addictive pain medication, hypnotherapy, nerve blocks, nerve stimulators, physical therapy, trigger point injections, and many other methods.
