About Hidalgo County Substance Abuse Treatment Facility
Hidalgo County Substance Abuse Treatment Facility is located in the city of Edinburg in Texas. They offer inpatient and outpatient SUD and co-occurring mental health treatment for adults. Their facility provides those experiencing and recovering from addiction with a safe and comfortable space for healing.
Court-Mandated DUI/DWI Community Supervision Programs
Their services are offered to those who have been convicted of DWI/DUI offenses and who have been referred by the court to their program. These programs allow inmates and former inmates to complete community supervision programs to allow for a safer transition and reintegration back into the community.
CBT Therapy and Treatment for SUD
They offer cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and treatment to those struggling with addiction and who have been involved in the judicial system as a result of their addiction. I find it reassuring to know that they also have a zero tolerance policy for sexual abuse or harassment between residents and staff.
Re-Integration Program with Education and Life Skills Training
They prepare you for reintegration back into the community by offering educational support and life skills training to ensure you are prepared to return to your previous obligations and responsibilities. The tools they will provide you with will help you handle life’s challenges and transitions safely and effectively.
I think it’s great that they also offer access to community support groups and treatment programs if you require additional support as you reintegrate. Onsite, they offer modified therapeutic community treatment programs that integrate court-mandated programming with the therapy and support you need to recover and comfortably reintegrate.
As you prepare to reintegrate, Hidalgo will offer you aftercare support and access to referrals. These may include vocational training programs, job placement, housing support and other services. They will also provide you with additional referrals for treatment and community support programs.
