About CeDAR Boulder Outpatient Addiction Treatment
CeDAR Boulder Outpatient Addiction Treatment is a substance abuse treatment facility based in Boulder, Colorado on a seven-acre campus. They offer virtual outpatient programs for folks outside of the city. CeDAR is accredited by The Joint Commission and has been recognized by Newsweek as the number one addiction treatment facility in the state for the past five years.
Comprehensive and Individualized Addiction Recovery
CeDAR staffs board-certified addiction medicine clinicians, addiction psychiatry providers and certified counselors. The team works together to give each client a personalized care plan that is suited to their needs. Their programs blend clinical, medical and pharmacological interventions.
I’m impressed that they use so many community recovery supports including 12 Step, SMART Recovery, LifeRing, Recovery Dharma and an alumni program. Their alumni program gives you weekly meetings, service opportunities and sober social events. They also have a continuing care group and outpatient addiction medicine and addiction psychiatry options.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
CeDAR runs several outpatient therapy groups. They offer multiple times and formats so you can get exactly what you need.
Their most popular option is their intensive outpatient program (IOP). This group meets three times a week for three hours. Typically, 12 weeks (or 36 sessions) is the usual length of the program. I like that they make sure to keep group sizes small with no more than 12 people. Plus you get to work one-on-one with a counselor as part of your journey.
