About Access West Chicago Family Health Center
Access West Chicago Family Health Center is an outpatient addiction treatment program in West Chicago, Illinois that serves the DuPage County area as part of the Access Community Health Network. With a focus on underserved populations the center combines evidence based counseling with comprehensive medical support to address addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges.
Counseling and Medication Assisted Treatment
Clients begin with an assessment and can access outpatient substance use disorder treatment including brief intervention and ongoing counseling. For those with opioid use disorder the Medication Assisted Recovery program provides buprenorphine, naltrexone, or Vivitrol, paired with weekly provider visits and regular group support sessions.
Treatment includes individual counseling, group therapy, and family counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies. Other services include recovery coaching, peer support, trauma informed care, discharge planning, and naloxone education.
