About A New Perspective Counseling Centers Fort Collins
A New Perspective (ANP) Counseling was an outpatient center located near the Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. They are now permanently closed. As a counseling center, ANP specialized in providing psychotherapy and education services to help individuals facing substance and alcohol related struggles.
Although these services were available to all, they focused heavily on assisting those involved with the justice system, particularly on DUI and domestic violence charges.
Personalized Road to Independence
ANP was equipped to offer services in either a standard outpatient format or for those with more persistent or complex troubles, but who did not need residential treatment. Each program included a comprehensive substance evaluation to assess each client’s needs.
This was followed by a personalized program consisting of individual therapy, group counseling and education on both addiction and matters relating to the client’s legal issues when needed. For example, those in the DUI program were given the opportunity to join the local support network as a part of their relapse prevention plans.
Finding Help in Fort Collins
What I like about ANP for outpatient counseling was, as a past client wrote, you would get warm, kind, honest and direct input under one roof. Although they’re closed now, there are still many operational addiction treatment centers in the area.
