VCH Health stands for Virginia Hospital Center and is an accredited hospital by The Joint Commission in Arlington, Virginia. This 548-bed health care system serves the D.C. area with numerous specialties and departments, including mental health and substance abuse treatment services. This location on North George Mason Drive is unique for having the only hospital based, inpatient psychiatric care program in Arlington. It’s also notable for its use of new and emerging technologies in treatment as well as its efforts as a teaching hospital.

Emergency Care
As a full service hospital, this location includes an emergency room you can visit when you experience a behavioral health crisis. It’s open 24/7, allowing you to get care when your provider would otherwise be unavailable. ERs can also coordinate treatment and connect you with other levels of care.
